The next stage in CTET exam process is the release of CTET answer keys at ctet .nic.in. CBSE conducted the Central Teacher Eligibility Test on December 9 in two slots. Nearly 16 lac candidates appeared for CTET 2025, conducted in offline mode. The examination was conducted at 2144 centers in 92 cities across India.
Out of the total number of candidate, 58% candidates were female, 199 were transgender and 33107 were differently abled students.
The examination was conducted in 20 languages and had objective type questions (MCQs).

CTET 2025 Paper Pattern:
CTET Pattern consists of 2 papers- Paper 1(Primary Stage) and Paper 2(Elementary Stage) –
Paper 1 is for candidates who intend to become a teacher for classes 1 to 5.
Paper 2 of is for candidates who wish to teach students from classes 6 to 8.
Every correct answer will be awarded +1 mark while negative marking scheme will not be applicable for the exam. Candidates can refer to the below table for CTET Exam Pattern highlights:
Candidates, who have applied for both the Papers, should apply for both paper 1 and paper 2. The level of questions varies according to the group, the candidate has applied for. The section wise division of each paper is given in the table below:
