SSB (Service Selection Board) is an organization which is set-up by the Ministry of Defence, India. Service Selection Board is the body that schedule, organize and conduct the SSB Interview of the candidates applying for Indian Military Forces. SSB Screens the candidates for the Army, Navy and Air Force. SSB Interview is five days long procedure which includes two stages of testing as stage I & stage II. The candidate must have passed 10+2 with science from a recognized board or institution to be qualified under or any of the post along with the following diploma’s & experiences:
3-years Diploma in General Nursing from Central/State Govt. recognised institute along with 2-years’ experience in the reputed hospital.
Diploma in Pharmacy from the institution recognised by central/state government.
2 Years Diploma in Radio diagnosis from central/state recognised institute.
Diploma or certificate in Operation Theatre Technician from a recognised institute.
2 Years Diploma in Dental Hygienist Course recognised by the central/state or dental council of India along with a year of experience as a dental technician in a reputed hospital.
Note: - Age relaxation is available to different categories as per the norms by the government of India.
1.SI (Staff Nurse Female)Females are exempted from the examination fees.
2.ASI (Radiographer, Operation Theatre, Pharmacist, Dental Tech., Stenographer) & Head Constable

Skill test norms on the computer for the post of ASI (Steno) & HC(Min): -
Candidates those who will qualify Paper-I & Paper-II (Descriptive nature) will be called for Skill test for the post of ASI Steno and HC (Min.). Skill test will be of qualifying in nature. The final merit list for the posts of Assistant Sub-Inspector (Stenographer) and Head Constable (Ministerial) will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the Paper-I (Common Entrance Test) & Paper-II (Descriptive nature).
Note:- Qualification in PET, PST, Documentation, Written Examination, and Skill Test will not be a guarantee to a call letter for Detailed Medical Examination. After Skill test, the candidates will be shortlisted for DME as per the merit of written examination.
