ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR SSC CHSL 2025

Educational Qualification: (AS ON 01.08.2025)

SSC CHSL 2025 Exam Pattern:

The examination will consist of three Tiers of exams:

• Computer-Based (online) (Tier -I)

• Computer-Based (online) (Tier-II) and

​​Apart from the Prelims, the Tier II will be a descriptive paper 100 Marks in ‘Pen and Paper Mode The duration of the paper would be for one hour (20minutes extra will be provided for candidates with VH/OH afflicted by Cerebral Palsy, OH with a deformity in writing hand). This paper has been introduced to assess your writing skills. The Paper would comprise writing of an Essay of 200 -250 words and Letter/Application writing of approximately 150-200 words.

• The minimum qualifying marks in Tier-II would be 33 percent.

• The performance in Tier II would be included in preparing merit.

• You have to write the paper either in Hindi or in English. The part paper written in Hindi and Part of English will not be evaluated.

• Candidates will be required to register themselves online through SSC official website.http://ssc.nic.in/ - Recruitment of SSC CHSL.
• Candidates should have valid email ID and mobile no.which should be kept active till the declaration of results. It will help him/her in getting call letter/advices etc. by email/SMS.
• Submit the Application Form.
• The payment can be made by using debit card/credit card/Internet Banking by providing information as asked on the screen. Transaction charges for online payment, if any, will be borne by the candidates.
• On successful completion of the transaction, e-receipt and application form with fee details will be generated; which may be printed for record.
• Take out the Print Out of the Application Form for future reference.

SSC CHSL preliminary examination is scheduled to be held tentatively in the month of July 2025.According to the notification examination call letter can be downloaded tentatively from June 18, 2025.Similarly, the date for download of call letter for SSC CHSL mains examination is tentatively from 20th July 2025.
