The court said that the petitioners cannot be asked to ascertain who was the teacher who had the capacity to become a teacher of science or mathematics and who was not. This work can only be done by the BSA by examining and hearing. The petitioners say that many such people have passed the TET and have been appointed assistant teachers, who did not take science or math subject in the undergraduate.
